heal.abstractThe columns of an integral matrix D give rise to the toric variety V-K (I-D) and also provide a paranietrization of a subset of V-K(I-D), the so-called toric set Gamma(K)(D). We completely determine the toric set Gamma(K)(D) over any field. We provide conditions under which V-K (I-D) is fully parametrized by the columns of D, that means Gamma(K) (D) = V-K (I-D).
