| heal.abstract | In this paper the problem of relations between Mainland Greece and the Aegean islands during the late Bronze Age is examined. There are many elements (pottery metalwork, architectural remains, tombs and burial customs) showing or indicating links between the two areas extending from the period of the Royal Shaft Graves at Mycenae to and including the last phase of the Late Bronze Age (ca. 16th — end of the 12th centB.C.) with a marked increase and expansion during the LH IIIA and B periods, while very little, unfortunately, can be said on the problem of their survival or continuity into the post-Mycenaean times. | el |
