heal.abstract	Αντικείμενο της παρούσας Μεταπτυχιακής Διπλωματικής Εργασίας είναι το θέμα της πείνας και της δίψας στις αρχαιοελληνικές μυθικές παραδόσεις. Σκοπός της είναι η ανάδειξη των θεμάτων της πείνας και της δίψας ως θεϊκής τιμωρίας απέναντι στους θνητούς, παίρνοντας ως παραδείγματα για την έρευνα τον Τάνταλο και τον Ερυσίχθονα, μορφές που διέπραξαν ανίερες και αξιόποινες πράξεις με αποτέλεσμα την αιώνια καταδίκη τους. Στην εν λόγω εργασία, όπως δηλώνει και ο τίτλος, θα μας απασχολήσει το θέμα της πείνας και της δίψας στις αρχαιοελληνικές μυθικές παραδόσεις, μια μελέτη της θεϊκής τιμωρίας στους θνητούς με έμφαση στους Τάνταλο και Ερυσίχθονα. Συγκεκριμένα θα μας απασχολήσει 1. η ανάλυση του θέματος της πείνας και της δίψας ως θεϊκής τιμωρίας στην αρχαιοελληνική μυθολογία και 2. η εξέταση των μύθων του Ταντάλου και του Ερυσίχθονα ως παραδείγματα θνητών που καταδικάζονται από τους θεούς σε αιώνια πείνα και δίψα λόγω ανίερων πράξεων μέσα από την μελέτη των αρχαίων κειμένων.	el
heal.abstract	The subject of this Master's Thesis is the subject of hunger and thirst in ancient Greek mythic traditions. Its purpose is to highlight the themes of hunger and thirst as divine punishment towards mortals, taking as examples for the research Tantalus and Erysichthon, figures who committed unholy and reprehensible acts resulting in their eternal damnation. In this paper, as the title states, we will be concerned with the subject of hunger and thirst in ancient Greek mythic traditions, a study of divine punishment on mortals with an emphasis on Tantalus and Erysichthon. Specifically, we will be concerned with 1. the analysis of the theme of hunger and thirst as divine punishment in ancient Greek mythology and 2. the examination of the myths of Tantalus and Erysichthon as examples of mortals condemned by the gods to eternal hunger and thirst due to unholy acts in from the study of ancient texts.	en
