Σκοπός της πτυχιακής αυτής εργασίας είναι η σύνδεση των Φιλαρμονικών Ορχηστρών με την ελληνική μουσική. Παρ’ ότι υπήρξε μια σχετική δυσκολία στην εύρεση στοιχείων (δεν έχουν γραφτεί πολλά βιβλία, επιστημονικά άρθρα κ.λπ.), η μελέτη στηρίχθηκε κυρίως στην επιτόπια έρευνα. Συγκεκριμένα, το τρίτο κεφάλαιο βασίστηκε στις έξι Φιλαρμονικές που πραγματοποιήθηκε η έρευνα και σε συνεντεύξεις που παραχωρήθηκαν από τους αρχιμουσικούς τους. Αντιθέτως, για τα δύο πρώτα κεφάλαια συμβουλεύτηκα βιβλιογραφικές πηγές και ιστοσελίδες που μιλούσαν για τη μουσική της Ελλάδας και το ιστορικό κάποιων Φιλαρμονικών. Το πρώτο κεφάλαιο πραγματεύεται την ιστορία της ελληνικής μουσικής, από τα αρχαία χρόνια έως και σήμερα, με αναφορές, εκτός των άλλων, στο δημοτικό και το ρεμπέτικο, κλείνοντας με τρεις σημαντικούς Έλληνες Συνθέτες. Εν συνεχεία, το δεύτερο κεφάλαιο αναφέρεται σε παραδείγματα ελληνικών Φιλαρμονικών με σπουδαία πορεία, ενώ επίσης αναλύεται το ρεπερτόριο και το οργανολόγιό τους. Η εργασία κλείνει, αναλύοντας τη μεθοδολογία που ακολουθήθηκε για την εκπόνηση της πτυχιακής, το συγκεντρωμένο υλικό και τα αποτελέσματα που εκμαιεύθηκαν από την επιτόπια έρευνα.
The purpose of this paper is to present the correlation between Philharmonic Orchestras and Greek music. Although there was quite ahindrance to collect data (not so many books written nor scientific articles etc.), this study was mainly founded on field-based research. More precisely, Chapter 3 was based upon the six Philharmonic Orchestras where research was conducted and on interviews granted by their music conductors. On the contrary, for the first two chapters I was relied upon bibliographic sources and websites that dealt with the music of Greece and the history of some Philharmonic Orchestras. Τhe first chapter addresses the history of Greek music from Antiquity until today, with references, among others, to folk song (dimotiko) and rebetiko, in closing with three important Greek composers. Furthermore, these condchapter refers to examples of Greek Philharmonic Orchestras of great importance, while their repertoire and organology are also examined. This thesis concludes by analyzing the methodology followed for its elaboration, the collected material and the findings obtained from the field-based research.
