| heal.abstract | O ιστορικός και φιλολογικός σχολιασμός των λόγων του Αιλίου Αριστείδου «Περὶ Σμύρνης», είναι το θέμα της παρούσης διατριβής, καθώς τα εν λόγω κείμενα του ρήτορος, αποτελούν τη μόνη εκτεταμένη γραπτή περιγραφή για την πολύπαθη πόλη της Ιωνίας κατά τη ρωμαϊκή περίοδο. Η μελέτη διαρθρώνεται σε τέσσερα κεφάλαια. Στο πρώτο κεφάλαιο περιγράφεται ευσύνοπτα η περίοδος ακμής της ρωμαϊκής αυτοκρατορίας (2ος μ.Χ. αι.) και οι συνθήκες υπό τις οποίες ήκμασαν οι ελληνικές πόλεις, όπου και κορυφώθηκε το φαινόμενο της δεύτερης σοφιστικής. Ακολουθεί η παρουσίαση της ζωής και του έργου του Αιλίου Αριστείδου. Η επιβίωση των κειμένων του Αιλίου Αριστείδου, από την αρχαιότητα έως την Αναγέννηση και τις πρώτες εκδόσεις τους, είναι το αντικείμενο πραγμάτευσης του δεύτερου κεφαλαίου. Διαχρονικά, εντοπίστηκαν και παρουσιάζονται πλείστες επιρροές του ρήτορος σε μεταγενέστερους συγγραφείς, ιδίως όσες διαπιστώθηκαν σε έργα που αντανακλούν οι Σμυρναϊκοί λόγοι, όπως και η συνοδοιπόρος χειρόγραφη παράδοση των εν λόγω κειμένων. Το τρίτο κεφάλαιο περιλαμβάνει τους λόγους του Αιλίου Αριστείδου για τη Σμύρνη, η μεταγραφή των οποίων έγινε σύμφωνα με την έκδοση του B. Keil (1898). Των κειμένων ακολουθεί η παρουσίαση της δομής και του περιεχομένου τους και επισημαίνονται τα φιλολογικά τους χαρακτηριστικά. Εν συνεχεία, παρουσιάζονται ζητήματα που αφορούν την προβληματική γύρω από τους αποδέκτες και την ακριβή χρονολόγηση των δύο Σμυρναϊκῶν (17, 21).Ο ιστορικός και φιλολογικός σχολιασμός των λόγων Περί Σμύρνης του Αιλίου Αριστείδου περιλαμβάνεται στο 4ο κεφάλαιο. Του σχολιασμού, προτάσσεται η γεωγραφία και η ιστορία της Σμύρνης και εν συνεχεία παρουσιάζεται η πόλη, σύμφωνα με τα κείμενα του Αριστείδου. | el |
| heal.abstract | he subject of the thesis at hand is the historical and philological commentary on the Aelius Aristides’ orations of Smyrna, as the said texts of the orator constitute the only extensive writing description of the long-suffering city of Ionia during the Roman period. The study is structured in four chapters. The first chapter briefly describes the heyday of the Roman Empire (2nd century AD) and the conditions under which the Greek cities flourished, where the phenomenon of the second sophistry peaked. The chapter is followed by the presentation of the life and work of Aelius Aristides. In the second chapter is examined the survival of the texts of Aelius Aristides, from antiquity to the Renaissance and their first editions. Over time, most of the orator’s influences on later writers have been identified and presented, especially those found in works reflecting the Smyrnaic orations, as well as the relevant manuscript tradition of these texts. The third chapter includes the orations of Aelius Aristides on Smyrna, which were transcribed according to the edition of B. Keil (1898). The presentation of their structure and content follows, and their philological characteristics are highlighted. Subsequently, issues related to the problematic regarding the recipients of the orations and the exact dating of the two Smyrnaean speeches are presented (17, 21). The fourth chapter includes the historical and philological commentary on the speeches about Smyrna by Aelius Aristides. The commentary is preceded by the geography and history of Smyrna and finally follows a presentation of the city, according to the narration of Aristides. | en |
