| heal.abstract | Η παρούσα Μεταπτυχιακή Διπλωματική Εργασία εστιάζει το ενδιαφέρον της στις μελέτες του σώματος, τόσο ως φυσικού όσο και ως κοινωνικού φορέα νοημάτων. Με βάση την εξέλιξη των θεωριών του σώματος και την κατηγοριοποίηση των σχετικών προσεγγίσεων, διαπιστώνεται ότι το άλλοτε συλλαμβανόμενο σταθερό φυσικό σώμα δίνει πλέον τη θέση του στο σώμα που αλλάζει μέσα σε κοινωνικές και ιστορικές συνθήκες. Ακόμη, το σώμα μπορεί να μετασχηματιστεί δραστικά εξ αιτίας χειρουργικών επεμβάσεων. Τέλος, οι τεχνικές του σώματος, η επιτήρηση του δρώντος σώματος, οι έξεις του σώματος, το πάσχον σώμα και η αυτοδιάθεσή του θεματοποιούνται ως ζητήματα στο έργο των Mauss, Foucault, Bourdieu, Goffman και στη φεμινιστική θεωρία. | el |
| heal.abstract | This dissertation focuses on the study and the analysis of the theoretical framework around the way in which the human body is approached, not only as natural entity but also as a locus invested with meaning. The evolution of the theoretical approaches for the body is presented in order to outline an approach for the way in which the human body is taken into account. The body that was perceived as something natural and stable gives its place to the body that can be transformed under social and historical conditions. Also, the rapid development of the utilization of medical science and cosmetic surgery, to carry out transformation interventions and changes to the human body, contributes to the change of the body image. In conclusion, topics as the body techniques, the surveillance of the active body, the body habits, the suffering body and the self-owned body are being discussed through the approaches of Mauss, Foucault, Bourdieu, Goffman and the Feminist movement. | en |
