heal.abstractDifference Compton profiles of ZrH2 and Zr of the same optical thickness, have been measured with 24 Am 59.54 keV gamma radiation. The difference profile between the hydride and the host metal is compared with predictions of various models on the behaviour of the stored hydrogen. A modified version of the existing protonic model, provides good agreement between theory and experiment.en
