| heal.abstract | Η παρούσα εργασία αποτελεί μια προσπάθεια να εξεταστεί η επίπτωση της υγειονομικής κρίσης λόγω του Covid19 στις οικονομικές καταστάσεις και τις εκθέσεις των εξωτερικών ελεγκτών των δημοσίων νοσοκομείων της 6ης υγειονομικής περιφέρειας. Η προσέγγισή έγινε με ανάλυση και σύγκριση κατάλληλων αριθμοδεικτών με βάση τις ετήσιες οικονομικές καταστάσεις για τις χρήσεις 2017 έως 2020 και ανασκόπηση των εκθέσεων των Ορκωτών Ελεγκτών-Λογιστών. Από την ανάλυση των Χρηματοοικονομικών Καταστάσεων και των σχετικών αναφορών και εκθέσεων προκύπτει ότι η πανδημίας Covid-19 δεν φαίνεται να θέτει σε κίνδυνο την ομαλή λειτουργία τους και την βιωσιμότητα τους. Όσον αφορά τις εκθέσεις των ορκωτών ελεγκτών για την χρήση 2020, οι σημαντικότερες επιφυλάξεις εντοπίζονται σε ελλείψεις στο σύστημα διαχείρισης και αποτίμησης των αποθεμάτων, τη μη λήψη επιβεβαιωτικών επιστολών για τα υπόλοιπα των πελατών καθώς και θέματα που αφορούν το ιδιοκτησιακό καθεστώς και τα βάρη των ακινήτων τους. Επίσης κοινό στοιχείο των εκθέσεων αποτελεί η παρατήρηση ότι το σύστημα εσωτερικού ελέγχου χρήζει βελτιώσεων. | el |
| heal.abstract | This dissertation attempts to examine the impact of the healthcare crisis due to Covid19 on the financial statements and on the Certified Public Auditors’ (CPAs) reports. The approach was done by analyzing and comparing appropriate ratios based on the Financial Statements of the public hospitals of the 6th health district for the years 2017 to 2020, and reviewing the audit reports of the CPAs. The analysis of the Financial Statements and related annual reports indicates that the Covid19 pandemic does not seem to endanger their proper operation and financial sustainability. With regard to the auditors' reports for FY 2020, the most significant concerns are identified in weaknesses in the inventory management system and stock valuation, the failure to obtain confirmation letters for customer balances, and issues related to the ownership and encumbrances of their properties. Also common to the reports is the observation that the internal control system needs to be improved. | en |
