| heal.abstract | Η παρούσα πτυχιακή εργασία εκπονήθηκε στο πλαίσιο της ολοκλήρωσης των σπουδών μου για το Προπτυχιακό Πρόγραμμα Σπουδών του Τμήματος Λογοθεραπείας. Το θέμα της αφορά στις διαταραχές μάθησης στο σύνδρομο Down. Επιπλέον, αναλύεται μία μελέτη περίπτωσης, αφενός ως προς τα χαρακτηριστικά που εμφανίζει η μαθήτρια με το σύνδρομο, αφετέρου ως προς τη συσχέτιση του με τον υπόλοιπο πληθυσμό ατόμων με το σύνδρομο. Συγκεκριμένα, παρουσιάστηκαν τα στοιχεία που συνθέτουν την κλινική εικόνα του συνδρόμου, η διαδικασία και αιτιολογία εμφάνισής του, η οποία αφορά στους γενετικούς και νευροφυσιολογικούς παράγοντες, οι εκπαιδευτικές ανάγκες των μαθητών με σύνδρομο Down και τα εκπαιδευτικά μοντέλα που επιδιώκουν στην υλοποίησή τους. H μελέτη περίπτωσης αφορά μία μαθήτρια με Νοητική αναπηρία οφειλόμενη στο σύνδρομο Down, η οποία φοιτά σε Δημοτικό Σχολείο τυπικής ανάπτυξης. Η μαθήτρια λαμβάνει παρέμβαση από διεπιστημονική ομάδα και ειδικότερα από λογοθεραπευτή, φυσικοθεραπευτή, εργοθεραπευτή, ειδικό παιδαγωγό, στοχεύοντας στη συστηματική καλλιέργεια των αδυναμιών της, αλλά και την ανάδειξη των δυνατοτήτων της. Τέλος, σημαντική έμφαση δίνεται στη σύγκριση των στοιχείων της μελέτης περίπτωσης με την εμφάνισή τους στο σύνολο των ατόμων με σύνδρομο Down. | el |
| heal.abstract | This thesis was prepared in the context of the completion of my studies for the Undergraduate Study Program of the Department of Speech Therapy. Her topic concerns learning disorders in Down syndrome. In addition, a case study is analyzed, on the one hand, in terms of the characteristics displayed by the student with the syndrome, and on the other hand, in terms of its correlation with the rest of the population with the syndrome. In particular, the elements that make up the clinical picture of the syndrome, the process and etiology of its appearance, which concerns genetic and neurophysiological factors, the educational needs of students with Down syndrome and the educational models that seek to implement them, were presented. Subsequently, the case study concerns a student with an intellectual disability due to Down syndrome, who attends a typical development Primary School. The student receives intervention from an interdisciplinary team and in particular from a speech therapist, physical therapist, occupational therapist, special educator, aiming at the systematic cultivation of her weaknesses, but also the highlighting of her strengths. Finally, significant emphasis is placed on the comparison of the elements of the case study with their appearance in the whole population with Down syndrome. | en |
