| heal.abstract | Οι στόχοι της παρούσας έρευνας ήταν δύο. Πρώτον, εξετάστηκε η σχέση ανάμεσα στο κοινωνικό άγχος, την προδιάθεση για ντροπή και την Θεωρία του νου (ΘτΝ), σε 187 παιδιά ηλικίας 10-12 ετών. Δεύτερον, εξετάστηκε η επίδραση του φύλου και της ηλικίας στις τρεις αυτές μεταβλητές. Για τη μέτρηση της ντροπής χρησιμοποιήθηκε το εργαλείο Brief Shame and Guilt Questionnaire for Children (Novin & Rieffe, 2015) και για την αξιολόγηση της ΘτΝ χρησιμοποιήθηκαν το έργο «Παράξενες ιστορίες» (Strange Stories, Happe, 1994) και το ΄Εργο Πραγματικών και Παραπλανητικών Συναισθημάτων (Real and Deceptive Emotion task (Dennis, Barnes, Wilkinson & Humphreys, 1998). Για τη μέτρηση του κοινωνικού άγχους χρησιμοποιήθηκε η ελληνική εκδοχή της Κλίμακας Κοινωνικού Άγχους για Παιδιά ή Social Anxiety Scale for Children- Revised (SASC-R, La Greca & Stone, 1993). Τα αποτελέσματα έδειξαν ότι η προδιάθεση για ντροπή συσχετίζεται θετικά με τα συμπτώματα κοινωνικού άγχους των παιδιών. Ωστόσο, τόσο η προδιάθεση για ντροπή, όσο και το κοινωνικό άγχος δεν βρέθηκε να συσχετίζονται με τη ΘτΝ. Τέλος, διαπιστώθηκε ότι το φύλο και η ηλικία των παιδιών δεν επηρεάζουν τη σχέση της ντροπής και του κοινωνικού άγχους με τη γνωστική και συναισθηματική διάσταση της ΘτΝ. | el |
| heal.abstract | Τhe aims of the present study were two. First, it was aimed to investigate the relationship between social anxiety, shame-proneness, and Theory of Mind (TοΜ) in 187 children aged 10 to 12 years. Second, it was aimed to investigate the effect of gender and age on these three variables. The scale ‘Brief Shame and Guilt Questionnaire for Children’ (Novin & Rieffe, 2015) was used to measure shame-proneness and for the assessment of ToM, two instruments were used: the task ‘Strange Stories’ (Happe, 1994) and the task ‘Real and Deceptive Emotion Task’ (Dennis, Barnes, Wilkinson, & Humphreys, 1998). For the assessment of children’s social anxiety the Greek version of the scale ‘Social Anxiety Scale for Children or Revised’ (SASC-R, La Greca & Stone, 1993) was used. The results showed that shame was positively correlated with children's social anxiety. However, no statistically significant correlation was found between shame-proneness, social anxiety and ToM. Finally, it was found that children’s gender and age did not affect the relationship between shame and social anxiety with the cognitive and the emotional dimensions of ToM. | en |
