Η επιλογή επαγγέλματος μέσω των σπουδών τους ανέκαθεν αποτελούσε βασικό ζήτημα που απασχολούσε και απασχολεί τους μαθητές της Δευτεροβάθμιας Εκπαίδευσης. Η διαδικασία αυτή ανεπιφύλακτα είναι η πλέον κρίσιμη για τη ζωή τους κατά την εφηβική ηλικία. Οι μαθητές και οι μαθήτριες ωστόσο, λόγω της εφηβείας τους επηρεάζονται από συγκεκριμένους παράγοντες που οδηγούν σε εσφαλμένες επιλογές. Η ορθή επιλογή επαγγέλματος μέσω των σπουδών είναι αποφασιστικής σημασίας για τους μαθητές. Κρίνεται, σκόπιμο να διερευνηθούν αυτοί οι παράγοντες και η καθοριστική επίδρασή τους, καθώς και να προταθούν εναλλακτικά κριτήρια επιλογής σταδιοδρομίας ώστε να μεγιστοποιηθούν τα οφέλη από την ορθή επιλογή επαγγέλματος τόσο σε ατομικό όσο και σε συλλογικό επίπεδο. Η επίλυση πολυδιάστατων πραγματικών προβλημάτων με χρήση κριτηρίων οδήγησε στην ανάπτυξη της Πολυκριτηριακής Λήψης Αποφάσεων (Multi-Criteria Decision Making). Τα εν λόγω προβλήματα - όπως και η ορθή επιλογή επαγγέλματος από τους μαθητές- εξαιτίας της παρουσίας πολλαπλών και αντικρουόμενων μεταξύ τους κριτηρίων αξιολόγησης των εναλλακτικών αποφάσεων, τα καθιστά δύσκολα ως προς την επίλυσή τους. Σε κάθε περίπτωση λήψης απόφασης προκειμένου να εφαρμοσθεί η θεωρία µε ένα και μοναδικό μοντέλο οδηγούμαστε στην ανάπτυξη εναλλακτικών μοντέλων. Στα πλαίσια της διπλωματικής αυτής παρουσιάζονται οι βασικές αρχές των Πολυκριτηριακών Μεθόδων Λήψης Απόφασης και δίδεται ιδιαίτερο βάρος στη μέθοδο MACBETH. Επιπροσθέτως η εφαρμογή της παραπάνω μεθόδου σε ένα πολυκριτηριακό πρόβλημα, όπως η επιλογή επαγγελματικής σταδιοδρομίας από τους μαθητές, μας βοηθά να κατανοήσουμε τη φιλοσοφία των μεθόδων υπεροχής και να αποφανθούμε για την αποτελεσματικότητα και την εγκυρότητά τους. Είναι αδιαμφησβήτητο ότι η διαδικασία επιλογής επαγγέλματος από τους νέους συνιστά κρίσιμη φάση της πορείας κοινωνικοποίησής τους με πάρα πολλές δυσκολίες και κινδύνους σε όλες τις παραμέτρους της.
Choosing one's profession via one's studies/schooling has always been and still is an issue of the utmost importance concerning students of Secondary Education. This course of action in adolescence is undoubtedly crucial for the rest of their life. However, because they are adolescents, students are influenced by specific factors or criteria leading them unfortunately to wrong decisions. The right choice of one's profession via his/her studies is critical. Therefore, it is advisable to look into the factors as well as their impact on students and suggest alternative criteria of choosing a career so that the benefits derived from the right choice of profession will be maximized both on an individual and a collective level. The resolution of multi - faceted real problems with the use of criteria has lead to the development of Multi-Criteria Decision Making. These problems-as well as the right choice of profession- are rendered difficult to be resolved due to the presence of multiple and conflicting criteria of evaluation of the alternative decisions. The application of the theory in a unique model in order to make a choice lead to the development of alternative models. In this bachelor's thesis, the basic principles of Multi - Criteria Decision Making are presented and great emphasis is given on the MACBETH method. Furthermore, the implementation of the above method in a multi - criteria problem such as the choice of one's career by our students helps us understand the philosophy of the predominance of the methods and conclude for their effectiveness and validity. It is without doubt that the course of action a student follows in deciding a profession makes up a critical stage in his/her process of socialization involving many difficulties and hazards in all its parameters.
