heal.abstractΤο ερευνητικό θέμα αφορμάται από το ζήτημα των δημιουργικών δραστηριοτήτων που ανατροφοδοτούν τη διαδικασία της αρχιτεκτονικής σύλληψης. Με την έκφραση “δημιουργική δραστηριότητα” υποδηλώνονται όσες πρακτικές εμπεριέχουν την ιδιότητα της έκφρασης και του προβληματισμού καθώς και το αδιαμφισβήτητο χαρακτηριστικό της αέναης αναζήτησης της αλήθειας. Συζητούμε, λοιπόν, για εκφάνσεις της τέχνης και επικεντρωνόμαστε σε εκείνη της ζωγραφικής. Κάθε μορφή τέχνης διεγείρει τις αισθήσεις, το σώμα και το πνεύμα. Μπορεί να κάνει τον κόσμο να αισθανθεί και να τον ωθήσει στη σκέψη, στην αμφισβήτηση, στη δράση. Με άλλα λόγια να τον φέρει πιο κοντά σε αυτό που αποκαλούμε ζωή. Η ζωγραφική (ζω+γράφω), ως εικαστική τέχνη, κατορθώνει να αγγίξει τον κόσμο μέσα από μία αλληλουχία στιγμών που μεταφράζονται με σχήματα, σημεία, μορφές, χρώματα, γραμμές διαφορετικών ποιοτήτων. Είναι μία δημιουργική διαδικασία και μία χειρονομία που ενεργοποιεί το “είναι” και συναντάται συχνά στη ζωή ή σε κάποια στιγμή της πορείας ενός ή μίας αρχιτέκτονα. Πρόθεση της εργασίας είναι να αναδείξει τη ζωγραφική ως εκφραστική εκδοχή ή εκφραστικό εργαλείο για την αρχιτεκτονική και να επισημάνει το χαρακτήρα της τελευταίας ως μία ευαίσθητη και πνευματική διαδικασία που έχει ανάγκη από πεδία άντλησης ερεθισμάτων, από δοχεία ζωής που την τροφοδοτούν. Η προσπάθεια αυτή δομείται και ξετυλίγεται γύρω από τη φυσιογνωμία του Δημήτρη Φατούρου (1928-2020), ο οποίος έκανε ζωγραφική, εστίαζε στο εικαστικό φαινόμενο και θεωρούσε ότι η ζωγραφική είναι μία από τις διόδους με τις οποίες αντιμετωπίζει κανείς ένα αρχιτεκτονικό πρόβλημα.el
heal.abstractThe research topic arises from the question posed by the creative activities that fuel the process of architectural conception. The term ’creative activities’ refers to practices characterised by the properties of expression and contemplation, as well as the definite element of the continuous pursuit of truth. Hence, we are discussing artistic expressions and focusing on the art of painting. Every form of art stimulates the senses, the body, the spirit. They may cause one to feel and motivate her/him into thinking, questioning and taking action. In other words, art can bring one closer to what we understand as life. Painting (‘ζωγραφική’ in Greek, from the words ‘ζω’ meaning ’to live’ and ‘γράφω’ meaning ’to write’), as a visual art accomplishes to touch through a sequence of moments which are translated into shapes, points, forms, colours, lines of various qualities. It is a creative process as well as a gesture which activates the ’being’ and is frequently encountered on the pathway of an architect. The aim of the paper lies on demonstrating the role of painting as an expressive form or tool for architecture. Furthermore, it aspires to highlight the nature of architecture as a sensitive and spiritual process that is fuelled by domains of stimuli, vessels of life. This pursuit is structured around the persona of Dimitris Fatouros (1928-2020), renounced for his use of painting, with a strong focus on the visual arts’ phenomenon, and a believer of the art of painting as a means to solve an architecture question.en
