| heal.abstract | Εισαγωγή: Η έννοια της δωρεάς οργάνων αποτελεί πρόκληση για όλους και περισσότερο για τους νοσηλευτές των μονάδων εντατικής θεραπείας που αντιμετωπίζουν τη φροντίδα των πιθανών δωρητών οργάνων. Ένας αξιοσημείωτος αριθμός από ποσοτικές και ποιοτικές έρευνες της βιβλιογραφίας έχει επικεντρωθεί στις απόψεις και στάσεις του νοσηλευτικού προσωπικού αναφορικά με το παραπάνω ζήτημα. Σκοπός: Στόχος της παρούσας διπλωματικής εργασίας είναι η διερεύνηση της αντίληψης και της στάσης των νοσηλευτών της μονάδας εντατικής θεραπείας αναφορικά με τη δωρεά οργάνων. Υλικό & Μέθοδος: Η ποιοτική μελέτη πραγματοποιήθηκε με την επιλογή της ερμηνευτής φαινομενολογίας του Heidegger. Χρησιμοποιήθηκε σκόπιμη δειγματοληψία με επιλογή δώδεκα νοσηλευτών και νοσηλευτριών που εργάζονται στη μονάδα εντατικής θεραπείας. Εφαρμόστηκαν ημιδομημένες ατομικές συνεντεύξεις και μετά την απομαγνητοφώνησή τους ακολούθησε η παρουσίαση των θεματικών ενοτήτων και η ανάλυση των δεδομένων. Αποτελέσματα: Η διαδικασία της θεματικής ανάλυσης αποκάλυψε θέματα που σχετίζονται με τα συναισθήματα των νοσηλευτών και την επαγγελματική τους ευθύνη στη φροντίδα δωρητών οργάνων, την επιρροή της εργασίας και την άποψή τους για τη δωρεά οργάνων, δυσκολίες και προκλήσεις που αντιμετωπίζουν, τη γνώση και την αναγκαιότητα παρέμβασης για ενίσχυση του έργου τους, σκέψεις και περιγραφή εμπειριών για τον εγκεφαλικό θάνατο και μεθόδους διαχείρισης της ψυχολογικής επιβάρυνσης από τη φροντίδα των δωρητών. Συμπεράσματα: Τα αποτελέσματα της μελέτης προβάλλουν τη θετική στάση των νοσηλευτών και την αναγκαιότητα εκπαίδευσης και ενημέρωσής τους σε θέματα που σχετίζονται με τις διαδικασίες και τη φροντίδα των δωρητών οργάνων καθώς και την εφαρμογή ενός μοντέλου υποστήριξης και ψυχολογικής ενίσχυσης. | el |
| heal.abstract | Introduction: The meaning of organ donation constitutes a challenge for all individuals, and even more for the ICU nurses who deal with the care of prospective organ donors. Some remarkable quantitative and qualitative research of our works cited page focuses on the perspectives and views of the nursing staff with regards to the aforementioned issue. Purpose: The purpose of this thesis is the exploration of the ICU nurses perspectives and views regarding organ donation. Syllabus and methodology: The qualitative research was based on Heidegger’s interpretative phenomenology. Intentional sampling was used by the selective choice of twelve ICU unit nurses. Semi- structured individual interviews were conducted and the presentation of their thematic units along with their data analysis followed after they were transcribed. Results: The thematic analysis procedure divulged issues related to the nurses feelings and feelings and their professional responsibility regarding organ donation, along with the impact of their work and their views on organ donation, the challenges involved, the knowledge and the necessity of their intervention in order for their work to be reinforced, thoughts and descriptions of experiences about brain death and methods used to manage the psychological burden by taking care of the donors. Conclusion: The results of research pinpoint the positive attitude of nurses and the necessity of training and informing them on issues concerning the procedure and care of the organ donors and the simultaneous support model. | en |
