heal.abstract	Η παρούσα διπλωματική πραγματεύεται την ανάπλαση του κτιρίου της ΥΦΑΝΕΤ στην Θεσσαλονίκη. Σκοπός είναι η κατανόηση της σημασίας των σημειακών επεμβάσεων στην πόλη καθώς διαμορφώνουν το αστικό τοπίο. Η μνήμη της ΥΦΑΝΕΤ σαν βιομηχανικό κτίριο και η ενίσχυση και ανάδειξη της ενεργής κατάληψης που δραστηριοποιείται στον χώρο, αποτέλεσαν κίνητρα για την αξιοποίηση του κτιριακού αποθέματος. Η τοποθέτηση προσθηκών στον κατακόρυφο άξονα ενισχύουν το λειτουργικό πρόγραμμα χωρίς να αλλάζουν την όψη και τον χαρακτήρα του υφιστάμενου κτιρίου. Παρουσιαζόμαστε σε ένα κτίριο μικτής χρήσης που προωθεί την απρόβλεπτη αλληλεπίδραση και, ως εκ τούτου, θα αναπαράγει πολιτιστική καινοτομία. Άλλα πλεονεκτήματα αποτελούν: πιο αποτελεσματική χρήση των αποτυπωμάτων τοποθεσίας, την ομαλή ενοποίηση των ιδιωτικών και δημόσιων λειτουργιών, την αναζωογόνηση νεκρών θυλάκων της πόλης και δημιουργικές χρήσεις για παλιά κτίρια.	el
heal.abstract	This thesis deals with the renovation of the YFANET building in Thessaloniki. The aim is to understand the importance of targeted interventions in the city as they shape the urban landscape. The memory of YFANET as an industrial building and the enhancement and promotion of the active occupation operating in the space were motivations for utilizing the building stock. The installation of new connections and additions on the vertical axis enhances the functional program without altering the appearance of the existing building. We are presented with a mixed-use building that promotes unpredictable interaction and, therefore, will reproduce cultural innovation. Other advantages include: more efficient use of site footprints, the smooth integration of private and public functions, the revitalization of dead pockets of the city, and creative uses for old buildings.	en
