heal.abstractMolecules of the title compound, C14H15N4S+.Cl-.-1.25H(2)O, are linked through intra- and intermolecular hydrogen bonds to form a dimeric structure. The crystal structure of the dimer is stabilized by two intermolecular hydrogen bonds of the N-HN ... S type and two intramolecular hydrogen bonds of the N-HN ... Cl type. The inter- and intramolecular bonds form. an eight-membered and a ten-membered ring, respectively.en
