| heal.abstract | Η παρούσα πτυχιακή αφορά τον ρόλο του λογοθεραπευτή στην διαταραχή κεντρικής ακουστικής επεξεργασίας (ΔΚΑΕ), αναλύοντας τις βασικότερες πτυχές της διαταραχής. Από την ανατομία και φυσιολογία των δομών που την αφορούν, προκειμένου να γίνει όσον το δυνατόν πιο αντιληπτή η παθολογία, μέχρι το πώς οι δομές αυτές επάγουν την άρτια ακουστική, γλωσσική και φωνολογική επεξεργασία και πως η διαταραχή σε αυτές δημιουργεί ελλείμματα. Αναπτύσσει την τυπική γλωσσική ανάπτυξη, τις πιο μελετημένες διαταραγμένες ικανότητες της ΔΚΑΕ που αλλοιώνουν την γλωσσική ανάπτυξη, καθώς και τους πιθανούς μηχανισμούς αυτής της αλλοίωσης. Παρατίθενται και μελετώνται οι πιο συχνές συννοσηρές διαταραχές της ΔΚΑΕ, και αναλύονται μελέτες που αποτελούν κίονες για την ανάπτυξη της σύγχρονής βιβλιογραφίας για την συννοσηρότητα αυτή. Τέλος, αναλύεται ενδελεχώς ο σημαντικότατος ρόλος του λογοθεραπευτή, από την ανίχνευση, μέχρι και την αντιμετώπιση και συμβουλευτική της διαταραχής. | el |
| heal.abstract | The current thesis is about the role of speech and language pathologists on the approach of Auditory Processing Disorder (APD), scrutinizing the most important aspects of the disorder. From the anatomy and physiology of the structures that play a key role to hearing, so the pathology can be better understood, to how these structures induce successful auditory, linguistic and phonemic processing and how disruption on these abilities can create deficits. Then, the typical language development is being stated. Subsequently, the most researched deficits in APD that create linguistic deficits and the possible mechanisms behind these deficits are analyzed. Later on, the most common comorbidities of APD, and some studies that are crucial for the research on comorbidity are analyzed. Last but not least, the salient role of the SLT in the disorder is examined, from assessment to management and consulting. | en |
