heal.abstractΟ χώρος φέρει όλες τις επικρατούσες κοινωνικές διακρίσεις με αποτέλεσμα το αστικό τοπίο να επηρεάζει και να περιορίζει το άτομο που είναι αναγκασμένο να ζει σε μια ετεροκανονική κοινωνία. Η παρούσα ερευνητική εργασία αφορά την αλληλεπίδραση του χώρου, της σεξουαλικότητας και της έμφυλης ταυτότητας. Αρχικά θα παρουσιαστούν περιπτώσεις όπου επικράτησε ή και επικρατεί η ελευθερία στην έκφραση της σεξουαλικότητας και πως αυτή η συνθήκη διαμόρφωσε το αστικό τοπίο ανά τα χρόνια. Θα γίνει μια προσπάθεια κατανόησης ορολογιών που αφορούν τις σεξουαλικές μειοψηφίες, ενώ έπειτα θα μελετηθεί η Ballroom κουλτούρα και τα Houses ως ένα παράδειγμα συσχετισμού ενός τρόπου ζωής με το χώρο στο πλαίσιο της queer κοινότητας. Έχοντας μελετήσει τα παραπάνω, θα επιχειρηθεί μια βασική διερεύνηση του αστικού τοπίου της Αθήνας με γνώμονα την κοινωνική ανεκτικότητα απέναντι στη λοατκι+ κοινότητα.el
heal.abstractSpace carries all the prevailing social distinctions as a result of which the urban landscape influences and limits the person who is forced to live in a heteronormative society. This research paper concerns the interaction of space, sexuality and gender identity. First, there will be presented cases where freedom in the expression of sexuality prevailed or is still prevailing and how this formed the urban landscape over the years. There will be an attempt to understand terminologies related to sexual minorities, and then Ballroom culture and Houses will be studied as an example of the association of a lifestyle with space within the context of the queer community. Having studied the above, a basic investigation of the urban landscape of Athens will be attempted with a view to social tolerance towards the lgbtqi+ community.en
