heal.abstractIn this paper we study the adsorption of Br-2 on Na-intercalated n-WSe2(0001) surfaces at 100 K and during following heating to 300 K. The experiment took place in UHV with the use of LEED and photoemission with synchrotron radiation measurements. At 100 K, Br, forms molecular multilayers on Na/n-WSe2. The bromine in conduct to substrate, interacts with the Na near the surface forming NaBr. At 300 K, part of the Br-2 overlayer is desorbed while that remaining on the WSe2 surface interacts strongly with Na leading to deintercalation of Na to the surface in the tendency to form NaBr.en
