| heal.abstract | In the article the film Blade Runner is analyzed both on a morphological and semantic level. On the morphological level, the Noir elements of the film are highlighted, such as the water that appears in the form of uninterrupted rain. The postmodern succession of architectural styles, the constantly moving crowds and the buildings of the Tyler company which specializes in making "replicas " of human beings, are also described. At the semantic level, time and memory emerge as the central theme of the film: Replicas, destined to die quickly try to penetrate ex post into the ranks of their creators in order to pro¬long their lives and acquire history and memory. Of the replicas, only Rachael manages to acquire a "normal", female identity. Moreover, the film is also examined in the light of Agamben's homo sacer, his bare life according to Roman legislation has to do with the paradoxical re-lationship of power with simple biological life that can be destroyed with im¬punity by anyone. Finally, the article recalls the Marxist notion of alienation while the replicas' are treated as signifiers of precarious, flexible labour. | en |
