| heal.abstract | Αντικείμενο πραγμάτευσης της παρούσας μεταπτυχιακής διπλωματικής εργασίας αποτελεί το θέμα της θεϊκής οργής στους Ομηρικούς ύμνους, το οποίο μελετήσαμε κυρίως με βάση τον Ομηρικό ύμνο στη Δήμητρα λαμβάνοντας υπόψη μας τόσο τα μυθολογικά όσο και τα λατρευτικά του συμφραζόμενα. H οργή της Δήμητρας κατέχει πρωταγωνιστικό ρόλο στην αφήγηση του Ύμνου, η ποία δομείται με βάση το αφηγηματικό πρότυπο της απόσυρσης και της επιστροφής ενός οργισμένου χαρακτήρα. Η θεά οργίζεται, καθώς η απώλεια της Περσεφόνης συνεπάγεται απώλεια της τιμής της, απομακρύνεται από τον Όλυμπο, προκαλεί λιμό και επιστρέφει στην ολύμπια σύναξη με την τιμή της επιβεβαιωμένη και επαυξημένη μέσω της θέσπισης των Ελευσίνιων Μυστηρίων. Εξετάσαμε, ακόμη, τη μορφή της κυανοπέπλου Δήμητρας καθώς και τον τρόπο με τον οποίο το αρχαϊκό ποιητικό λεξιλόγιο περιγράφει την οργή της θεάς. Καταλήγοντας, στο πλαίσιο αυτής της σύνθετης προσέγγισης, αξιοποιήθηκαν χωρία από την κλασική και μεταγενέστερη ποίηση, όπως η ευριπίδεια Ελένη, ο πέμπτος καλλιμάχειος Ύμνος, οι Iστορίες Mεταμορφώσεων του Αντωνίνου Λιβεράλι και το Ελλάδος Περιήγησης του Παυσανία με απώτερο σκοπό την πληρέστερη αποτίμηση της λειτουργίας του συναισθήματος της οργής. | el |
| heal.abstract | The subject of this postgraduate thesis is the theme of divine wrath in Homeric hymns, which we studied mainly on the basis of the Homeric hymn to Demeter, taking into account both its mythological and cultic contexts. Demeter's rage plays a leading role in the narrative of the Hymn, which is structured on the basis of the story pattern of the withdrawal and return of an angry character. The goddess is enraged, as the loss of Persephone implies the loss of her honour, she is removed from Olympus, causes a famine and returns to the Olympian assembly with her honour confirmed and enhanced through the institution of the Eleusinian Mysteries. We also examined the figure of the dark-veiled Demeter and the way in which the archaic poetic vocabulary describes the wrath of the goddess. In conclusion, in the context of this complex approach, passages from classical and later poetry, such as the Euripidean Helen, the fifth Calimachean Hymn, Antoninus Liverali's tales of metamorphoses and Pausanias' Descripsion of Greece, were utilized in order to more fully assess the function of the emotion of rage. | en |
