heal.abstractM?ssbauer spectra of Sr2FeMo1-xWxO6 with 0?x?0.4 show iron in two different kinds of metal neighbor environment. One has six (Mo,W) neighbors associated with the ideal NaCl-type order of Fe and (Mo,W), and the other has five (Mo,W) neighbors and one Fe, due to an antisite defect. The cation order improves with W substitution, and there is a slight increase in the Curie temperature. © 2002 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.en
