| heal.abstract | Το «It never happened» αποτελεί μια ολοκληρωμένη εικαστική πρόταση, η οποία μέσα από μια ποικιλία έργων, φιλοδοξεί να σχολιάσει τον συντηρητισμό που επικρατεί στον δημόσιο χώρο στην Ελλάδα, καθώς και να κάνει προτάσεις για την αναγκαία ανανέωσή του. Μέσα από μια ανάλυση των κοινωνικοπολιτικών συνθηκών, των ιδιαίτερων χαρακτηριστικών της τοπικής ταυτότητας, αλλά και της σπουδαιότητας της ιστορικής συνέχειας, επιχειρείται μια νέα προσέγγιση στα πράγματα. Επιπλέον, μελετώνται έννοιες όπως αυτές του μνημείου και του έθνους, προκειμένου να καταδειχθούν οι ιδιαιτερότητες του δημόσιου πεδίου στο σύνολό του. Το έργο καθαυτό, θέλει να μιλήσει κριτικά για όλα τα παραπάνω και να θέσει το ζήτημα της ετεροπίας σε σχέση με το έργο τέχνης. Στερεότυπα και σύμβολα γίνονται τα εργαλεία, αλλά και οι αιτίες για δημόσιες παρεμβάσεις. Στόχος είναι η ενεργοποίηση του κοινού, μέσα από μια σειρά εγκαταστάσεων που θέλουν να προβληματίσουν και να επηρεάσουν την κοινωνία στο σύνολό της. | el |
| heal.abstract | The project «It never happened», is a complete visual proposition, which, through a series of artworks, aspires to comment on the conservative way of thinking that is shown in the Greek public space, as well as make propositions for its necessary renewal. Through the analysis of the sociopolitical circumstances, the special characteristics of the local identity, but also of the importance of the historical sequence, it is attempted a new total approach. Plus, the concepts of monument and nation , are studied thoroughly, in order to showcase the special features of the public sphere in general. The very oeuvre, wants to speak critically about all of the above and introduce the issue of heterotopia, in relation to the work of art. Stereotypes and symbols become tools, but also the initiatives for public intervention. The target is to create an interactive audience, through a series of installations, which wish to engage the society as a whole. | en |
