Description

The well known chi(2) goodness of fit test for a multinomial distribution is generally biased when observations are subject to misclassification. In this paper, based on a double sampling scheme, the family of phi-divergence test statistics is introduced for testing goodness of fit under misclassification of the data. The case of binomial data is discussed and an illustrative example is also given.
