| heal.abstract | Στην παρούσα μεταπτυχιακή διατριβή παρουσιάζουμε την κατασκευή του χώρου James Tree JT, ο οποίος αποτέλεσε ιστορικά το πρώτο παράδειγμα διαχωρίσιμου χώρου Banach που δεν περιέχει ισομορφικά τον l1 και έχει μη διαχωρίσιμο δυϊκό. Μελετάμε τις διασπάσεις χώρων Banach και τους καθολικά αδιάσπαστους (H.I.) χώρους και παραθέτουμε την απόδειξη ότι κάθε H.I. χώρος περιέχεται ισομορφικά στον l∞. Τέλος, παρουσιάζουμε την κατασκευή ενός ανακλαστικού (αυτοπαθούς) H.I. χώρου Banach. | el |
| heal.abstract | In this master thesis we present the construction of the James Tree space JT, which was, historically, the first example of a separable space which does not contain l1 and whose dual is non-separable. We study decompositions of Banach spaces and the class of hereditarily indecomposable (H.I.) spaces and we present the proof that every H.I. Banach space embeds into l∞. Furthermore, we present the construction of a reflexive H.I. Banach space. | en |
