heal.abstractΗ παρούσα εργασία μελετά τις γλωσσικές απεικονίσεις του συνομιλιακού υπονοήματος της πεθεράς κατά τη διάδρασή της με τη νύφη της. Για την πραγματοποίηση της έρευνας συλλέχθηκε, με τη μέθοδο της μαγνητοφώνησης–απομαγνητοφώνησης, ένα corpus δεκαπέντε γλωσσικών αναπαραστάσεων του υπονοήματος, όπως απεικονίζονται στη δημοφιλή ελληνική κωμική τηλεοπτική σειρά «Επτά Θανάσιμες Πεθερές». Τα εκφωνήματα των πεθερών αναλύθηκαν με την αξιοποίηση των εργαλείων που προσφέρονται στο πλαίσιο της Κριτικής Ανάλυσης Λόγου (ΚΑΛ). Βασικοί άξονες της γλωσσολογικής ανάλυσης ήταν η Σημασιολογική Θεωρία, η Πραγματολογική Θεωρία, η Αρχή της Συνεργασίας του Grice, η Αρχή της Ευγένειας του Leech, καθώς και οι Κοινωνιογλωσσικές έρευνες για τις γλωσσικές επιλογές των δύο φύλων. Έμφαση δόθηκε στον έλεγχο των μεταφορικών εκφράσεων και τη χρήση διαλεκτικών ποικιλιών. Τα στοιχεία αυτά σχολιάστηκαν σε συνδυασμό με την εκμετάλλευση, από τους κωμωδιογράφους, των στερεοτυπικά δοσμένων χαρακτήρων των πεθερών, προκειμένου για την πρόκληση χιούμορ. Τα ευρήματα της έρευνας έδειξαν ότι τα συνομιλιακά υπονοήματα των πεθερών ενεργοποιούνται λόγω των ποικιλότροπων παραβιάσεων των αξιωμάτων των Αρχών της Συνεργασίας και της Ευγένειας. Ενέχουν στοιχεία αμφισβήτησης, πολεμικού λόγου και λεκτικής βίας, ενώ χρησιμοποιούνται ως μέθοδος αυτοπροστασίας από πιθανές κυρώσεις και ως μηχανισμός επιβολής εξουσιαστικής δύναμης, με αποτέλεσμα να μην συνάδουν απόλυτα με τα χαρακτηριστικά του γυναικείου λόγου.el
heal.abstractThe present study examines the linguistic representations of the conversational implicature that the mother-in-law uses during her interaction with her daughter-in-law. For the realization of the research, a corpus of fifteen linguistic representations of the conversational implicature as depicted in the popular Greek comedy television series «Seven Deadly Μothers-in-law» was collected, using the method of filming-transcription. In-laws’ speeches were analyzed by exploiting the tools offered in the context of Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA). The main axes of the linguistic analysis were the Semantics’ Theory, the Pragmatics’ Theory, the Grice’s Principle of Cooperation, the Leech’s Principle of Kindness, as well as the Sociolinguistic researches on the linguistic choices of the sexes. Emphasis was placed on the control of metaphorical expressions and the use of dialectic varieties. These elements were commented in conjunction with the comedians’ exploitation of stereotypical characters of the mothers-in-law to induce humor. The findings of the research showed that the conversational implicatures of the mothers-in-law are triggered by a variety of infringements of the Principles of Cooperation and Kindness. They contain elements of controversy, war speech and verbal violence, while they are used as a method of self-protection against possible sanctions and as a mechanism of enforcing power, so that they are not fully consistent with the characteristics of the female speech.en
