| heal.abstract | A combination of homo- and heteronuclear 1D and 2D NMR techniques provided the assignment of the H-1 and C-13 resonances of the major component of a reaction product consisting of the two possible diastereomers of (5'S)-1-[2'-(2-hydroxyethyl)tetrahydropyran-5'-yl]-1H-pyrimidine-2,4-dione and showed that the tetrahydropyranyl ring in the major 5S,2'S-isomer adopts the twist conformation.
